Studio Construction, Week Two

I am amazed by how much the crew accomplished last week. Al and his crew from “Williamson Construction” in Falmouth are a great team. We now have a massive ridge beam in place and all new roof beams. The sky will not fall on my head! We have a new staircase so I no longer have to climb up and down ladders to the second floor. The staging is set to put the windows up in the north wall. The windows will be arriving on Wednesday. Let there be light! I found a bunch of old floor boards in the garage. We will be using them in the construction of a new section of floor upstairs. The new section will connect the north and south lofts. Some of the old floor boards are eighteen inches wide!
